The location is just perfect, the akiba is right across the street. Public facilities in the hotel are quite nice. The most impressive thing is that the hotel has an open-air bath that you can enjoy anytime(even 2 am) in the heart of Tokyo.

Loved all the little freebies that Dormy had to offer including: Nightly ramen, ice cream, Bath/Sauna, and the Yakults. Staff were all polite and helpful. We had luggage as well as an order of products shipped here and they were able to accommodate. We asked for a taxi and although it wasn't available, the staff member tried her best. We did have multiple luggage however so they likely ran out of SUV sized vehicles. We ended up taking UBER to the airport. We opted to skip breakfast as 7-11 was downstairs and we just wanted a quick bite. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it to all guests. The internet was always stable.

We stayed in the twin room and it was spacious. Room was designed with functionality and storage in mind. The room is very clean and the ability to check real time vacancy at the onsen and washing machine is a big bonus. Hotel is within less than 10 mins walking distance to 4 different train lines. Free ramen (9:30-11pm), free ice lollies at 12th floor, and free yakult (5-10am). Would stay here again.

Great hotel. Amazing breakfast choices, and loved all the little things throughout the day like the free yoghurt drinks and ice cream. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were good. There were so many little details in the room that made the stay really comfortable, like the pajamas & slippers, the deodorizing spray that I used on my jacket after going out to a bar in the evening, the free water they kept providing in the fridge, ... Best of all of course was the onsen to relax sore muscles in every night after running through town. It had an indoor and outdoor part, a sauna, and a cold plunge. They were fine with a small tattoo as long as it is covered with a sticker in the onsen area (which they provided). Free washing machine was good to have too. The location of the hotel is super convenient with several different subway line stops that are less than 10 minutes walk away. Centrally located you can reach the different parts of Tokyo to visit quickly and easily. Transfer from airport via train and subway was easy too, even with a big suitcase.

Location of hotel just steps away from elevator serviced exit 6 of Kanda Sta - Ginza Line Metro. Exit 6 closes early at approximately 7p on weekdays and 9p on weekends. Kanda Station also has JR service. In addition, the hotel is easy walking distance to Awajicho Metro, Ogawamachi Subway and Akihabara Stations so access to a wide range of Lines of transportation is extremely convenient. 7-11 is adjacent to hotel at street level and Family Mart a few hundred feet away. There are many dining options in the neighborhood including a yokocho on the street behind the hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Even if you don’t speak Japanese fluently, they are patient and they do have a translator app on their check-in tablets so they will do their best to accommodate you. The onsen facility combined with free ramen/popsicles/yakult drinks is great after a long day of sightseeing. Location was perfect: 5-10 min walk to Akihabara and Kanda stations, and there is a laundromat within walking distance if the hotel’s laundry machines (washers are complimentary, dryers are not free but they are still very cheap) are all occupied.

Great location, fantastic onsen facilities, delicious breakfast buffet, with the free upgrade to a twin room was just amazing! Staff were helpful and accommodating, not only did they store my luggage for 2 nights for free as I went out of Tokyo for a while and returned back to Dormy Inn Kanda, they put my luggage directly in my room when I checked in again! For fellow otakus - it's actually nearer to Akihabara Station than Dormy Inn Akihabara!

As usual, Dormy Inn shines with its complimentary amenities and treats, such as free ramen for supper, free tea and coffee at the reception, free ice popsicles and yogurt after the onsen. The room, while small, was functional and typical for Japanese standards. The bed was comfortable though the pillows were hard. The usual toiletries were provided but there is no body lotion in the bedroom (I believe it is available at the onsen). A 5 minute walk from Akihabara and 1 minute from the Ginza Line, the location is highly accessible. There is also a 711 at the ground floor of the property. The onsen had baths indoors and outdoors. While small, it was clean and we enjoyed it.

Even though I barely stayed in this location for a night, it was extremely wonderful and I wish I had stayed for a bit longer to use everything they had to offer. The facilities are nice. They offered ethernet (hardwired internet) in the room, gave me a small welcome snack and bottle of water in the fridge when I arrived to my room, held all my luggage safely at the desk on a cart before and after my official stay time when I was out exploring, and even put it up in my room prior to my late arrival for the night. The view from my room on the 12th floor was pretty decent, as it let me look over the city and a little bit of Akihabara. The location is also amazing for it, as it is near the meatiest part of Akihabara. It also had a luggage store nearby that was an extreme relief for those who bought a lot more than what he intended on the trip and needed to haul it all back home because he forgot to stop by a post office.

Excellent location. Onsen was amazing - highlight of the hotel. One of the best saunas I've ever been to, with a rooftop bath. Staff were polite and kindly stored my luggage. Complimentary slippers and pyjamas during the stay were great. Laundry facilities were perfect - complimentary washing powder. Free yakult in the mornings, ice cream throughout the day and free ramen in the evenings.
